Care for a changing climate

Heat and humidity can gradually affect pitch, wooden components and the piano action. Regular servicing helps catch small changes early and keeps the instrument more stable throughout the year.

Homes, teachers, schools, studios and performance spaces are all welcome.

Which tuning do I need?

Two paths to a
stable result.

You do not need to diagnose the piano yourself. Share when it was last tuned and what you have noticed, and the right approach will be confirmed before the appointment.

01

Standard Aural Tuning

Best for pianos serviced regularly and already reasonably close to concert pitch. The focus is accurate pitch, clean unisons and a balanced musical result.

Regular maintenance
02

Pitch Correction + Fine Tuning

Recommended when a piano is significantly flat or sharp, or has gone several years without tuning. Pitch is corrected gradually before the fine tuning.

Long gaps or larger pitch drift
